A Day with my Genius Niece

It all began at the library where we listened to stories about spring and pussy  willows. Then we made a craft of a pussy willow picture. After story , crafts and a cookie we went to play with puppets at the puppet theater area of the library.

We used all the puppets...about 20 different ones. Then went to work on the computer where Genius Niece has her own web link to print out coloring and activity sheets.

Then back to the play area with a puzzle of the Very Hungry Caterpillar, building blocks and a surprise from the librarian who gave us a new book to keep L

We read two of her favorite books:

and she also talked about Pete the Cat, who is a favorite of mine.
Before we left we picked out 3 DVD's to take to my house:

and Barbie Princess and Angelina on DVD.  She loves Alvin, talked about Theodore aka Theodorable  and the Chipettes. 

She filled me in on the upcoming birthday celebration..Taylor Swift, Bibbitti Boutique and Orlando.
