Rambling Rose Celebrates Leap Day

Leap Year Cocktail

2 oz gin (I'd go with Beefeaters on this one)
½ oz sweet vermouth
½ oz Grand Marnier
¼ oz fresh lemon juice

Shake above ingredients with ice, and strain into a chilled cocktail glass, then garnish with a lemon twist, just so. It's a fine drink, though I don't think you'll be hemming and hawing for this drink over the next three years. But do enjoy it now at your own Leap Year celebration (you are going to be celebrating Leap Year, right?).

Last night on Amazing Race,the Asian girls were eliminated,the border patrol led the whole show,but the married couple ,Dave and Rachel, won the free pass. Downton Abbey ended with the long awaited proposal for Lady Mary.

Downton Abbey and Amazing Race

Amazing Race 20 begins and tonight we meet the new teams.

Downton Abbey follows AR on PBS. Will Lady marry? No,Idon't think so...her other grandma,Shirley MacClaine,is coming on in Season 3. The 2 grandma's will argue about the wedding. Some people think the newspaper owner killed Bates's wife.Will their long lost relative come back,the burn victim, and try to claim the estate?Who will marry the ugly daughter....any ideas?
